Player Awards
A repeatable award graphic system designed to celebrate end-of-season player recognition through bold typography, layered athlete imagery, and a professional sports broadcast aesthetic.
This project focused on designing a series of player award graphics for Legacy Leagues, highlighting end-of-season achievements such as Most Valuable Player, Offensive Player of the Year, and Most Improved Player. The goal was to build a consistent visual system that celebrates individual performance while maintaining a strong, high-energy sports aesthetic.
Designing a cohesive award series that still lets each player stand out
OVERVIEW
THE PROBLEM / DESIGN CHALLENGE
How do you make multiple award posts feel consistent without making them feel repetitive?
Unlike a one-off social graphic, this project needed to function as a full design system. Each award had to highlight a different player, different stats, and a different title while still feeling like part of one recognizable series for Legacy Leagues.
PROCESS
Building a repeatable award graphic system from one flexible template
Template System
Photography & Image Selection
Because I shot the player photography myself, I could choose poses and moments that felt the most dynamic for each award. Using multiple images of the same athlete in one composition created motion and helped each post feel more energetic and high-impact.
The foundation of the project was a reusable layout system that could adapt across multiple award categories. The template locked in core elements like player placement, large name treatment, statistics, award title, and league branding, while leaving enough flexibility for each player graphic to feel distinct.
FINAL DESIGN
One structure, multiple players, consistent recognition across the series
